Art That Embraces Imperfection.

Capturing the calm, beauty, & resolve of nature in a modern, minimalistic way.

After sustaining a severe spinal injury in the gym, & then losing a job I loved just one month later, I was very limited with what I could do & had a lot of time to reflect. I was forced to slow down. In those quiet, yet scary, moments of wondering how to move forward, I discovered that I was resilient. I decided to finally pursue what I had been putting off.

This art has become a way to heal the unrealistic standard of perfection I set for myself. The pursuit of perfection has caused so much physical & emotional pain in my life. As much as I try to control the medium, the art takes on a life of its own. It teaches me to accept imperfection and let go of control. It forces me to slow down, and reflect on how every decision I make causes impact & change.

Perfection doesn’t exist here. My hope for you is to slow down, appreciate the quiet moments, and embrace the uniqueness & resilience that makes you, you.
